Introducing their debut album as the passionately crafted result of a global pandemic, producer and songwriter duo Luckeyboy met way back during the iconic nineties, and reconnected at a crucial time for impactful creative escapism. 

Bringing together the talents of singer and songwriter Mr. Deshon and producer Los Brown, Luckeyboy viewed the writing and recording of their album as an experimental process – one writes the songs, the other builds the beats; let the power of collaboration commence.

What began as delving into the unknown soon evolved into a clear fusion of hip hop, soul, RnB and gospel music – multiple genres confidently united under the hybrid blanket of artistry that is the Luckeyboy sound.

Inspired by the likes of James Brown and Sade as much so as Portishead, Steely Dan, Chaka Khan, Bob Dylan and Bob Marley, eclecticism is a natural and necessary strength. The collective's love for music in all of its forms is what drives their process, and their skill – thanks to decades immersed in the craft as emcees and artists – is what allows this to shine so brightly throughout the brand-new project.
